8:00 AM - Blossoms 1st Day ONLY Pack

This day begins at 8am with an hour and a quarter Mat class that is designed to wake you, shake you and prepare your body for a day long Wunda Chair Workshop.

At 9:30am the Unusual Wunda Chair Workshop commences:

In this 6 hour workshop, Blossom will dive into the Wunda Chair repertoire that is less often taught. She will take participants through a range of these less-known exercises and demystify them, exploring how to broaden and deepen them to be able to apply more often for clients with specific needs or issues, as well as those seeking new challenges. In Blossom’s experience she has found that many of the lesser taught exercises are actually ideal for a range of client needs and deserve more attention. This workshop will add to your existing Wunda Chair repertoire with accessible new exercises, variations and progressions.

There will be a 45min break for lunch.

At 9:30 prepare with your first 3 hr workshop Client Management and Progression

An immersive workshop of repertoire and strategies that Blossom uses to progress clients from their initial consultation, through the repertoire. This will be a highly interactive workshop with repertoire applications relevant to client progression, along with discussion and demonstrations of the client experience. Take this very rare opportunity to learn how Blossom inspires such devotion from her clients through her strong lineage of training and her own developed techniques, progressions and management of client needs and motivations.

After a 45minute lunch enjoy Connected Arms and Strong Torso: in another 3 hr workshop:

This workshop will explore a collection of exercises from Kathy Grant combined with traditional Pilates that focus on how the arms attach to the body. We'll play with ideas on how to use the upper extremities to strengthen the symmetrical or asymmetrical torso and learn how to effectively implement these tools for clients. Drawing upon her 3D Symmetry work, Blossom will impart her deep understanding of how to work with repertoire to address arms, shoulders, upper torso, head and neck issues and postures, that is so important in the modern day.

Director and Creator of Pilates Canberra: Advanced Diploma of the Pilates Method, TAE

I started teaching Pilates in 1996. I have studied Pilates with a variety of schools and qualifications, culminating in the Advanced Diploma of the Pilates Method through PilatesITC.

I have opened Pilates studios across Canberra and by building the only Pilates specialist registered training organisation in Canberra, I have trained many of the Pilates Instructors who now own their own studios or teach around Australia.

From 2011 until 2019 I was a co-director of PilatesITC and proud to be a Director of the most progressive Pilates specialist training organisation in the world for eight years. After helping to establish a relationship between PilatesITC and the University of Canberra, I became the first student to articulate from the Advanced Diploma of the Pilates Method to an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science; study that I still continue part time.

I share my time between instructing private clients, staff and other Pilates instructors and teaching professional development workshops and classes around Australia. I am excited about the working relationships that Pilates Canberra has built up with Health Care and Allied Health professionals in Canberra.

I am a wife and mother to an adult son and I love to run, stand-up paddle board, roller-blade, read and write.
